Good Evening my beauties!
I thought I would share with you a picture of a look that I created over the summer that was full of lovely silver shimmery-ness. My face seems to have finished it’s little hissy fit with me, and I will be ready to post a current look for you soon. But here is something small to tide you over. Most of the eyes were done with the Tarte for True Blood Palette which I absolutely love and you should too!
Hey All! So, I had planned on doing a look for you today based on some of the Spring 2012 makeup trends, but my eyes had a different idea.
I must have irritated my eyes at some point yesterday, because I woke up and they were swollen, puffy, and red. I can still see (thankfully) but not attractive at all to be doing a makeup look 😦 So, I am very sorry I won’t have that today. Hopefully at some point this week or this weekend.
For now, I will just have to talk to you about it. I was browsing around online a couple weeks ago to find out what’s going to be hot this Spring, and I found some wicked awesome photos.
Size:|| 1 oz.
What is it? A Beauty Benefit Creme for your face, or B.B. Creme for Short

- Give you a healthy glow
- Lightweight formula for your face

I’ve started this blog in hopes of having a place to talk all about the things I love. I feel as though that’s good for you, right? When you can express yourself any way you want without anyone judging you? Well, this is that space for me.
So just a little about me. I am a 29 (30 this September! EEK) wife and mother. I recently started working at my job of 7 years part time last summer so that I could spend some more time at home with my kids. It has really helped a lot. I feel like I am there for them so much more. I used to work full time 45-50 hours a week and that was causing a major strain on me and the home life. We’d get home at 6:45-7:00pm at night and then I’d have to worry about dinner, homework, showers/baths. Aah! At the end of the day I just wanted to collapse! But I feel I am in a much better place now since cutting back.
I guess my obsession with makeup started only 3 years ago. (Yes, I am a makeup noob) We had gotten an Ulta in my area and I didn’t even know what it was to be honest. I had always been into makeup, but my makeup shopping consisted of grabbing drug store eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, and foundation and slapping it on my face. Trust me it was not pretty! I have photos of me at 19 or 20 years old with this blue eyeshadow all over my lid. That’s it – just blue eyeshadow. It was scary stuff! So I wandered into Ulta on a whim one day and it just spiraled from there. Seeing a whole entire store devoted to makeup? -Que cliche choir music- 🙂
Anyways, to make a long story short, I was hooked. Seeing all the color palettes on display was amazing and I started my collection. I think the first palette that I picked up was the Urban Decay Pony Palette. I loved it. I still have it, and I still use it. Maybe someday soon I will show you every thing that I acquired over the years, but lets just say – it’s quite a bit!
I like to say that I am still in the learning stages of makeup. I surely don’t know everything (does anyone really though?) I am just very passionate about it and feel as though I can help others as well.
What you can expect here are honest product reviews, looks of the week, favorite products, and everything else that my little heart desires. I’d also like to incorporate fashion at times. The things I like, and the things I pick up, and wear. I’ve recently started my healthy lifestyle change again. I started it back in May and lost about 20 lbs over the summer. Towards the end of the summer however, I lost some important people in my family and ended up gaining it all back.
Since starting back up in January, I lost that 20 lbs again and an additional 5, so I feel as though I am on the right path. You will probably see what’s for dinner posts as well! So, as not to make this long entry ANY longer, I am going to stop here! There are plenty more opportunities for you to get to know me, and me to you! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’d love to hear from you! 🙂
Much love to you ❤
